No one is hurt as a car spins out of control in south Tulsa. It slammed into the Brookside bar "33/forty" about 2:30 Saturday morning.

The driver of the car and his passenger were arrested for public intoxication. Also, police indicate marijuana was also found inside the car.

The bar is at 33rd and South Peoria. Police say the bar was closed at the time of the crash.

Tulsa Police are investigating the cause of death for a toddler. The young boy was found in the back seat of car. Police had pulled over the auto because of erratic driving near 65th and South Lewis Avenue in Tulsa.

The child, believed to be about 18-months-old, was unresponsive when the car was pulled-over by police. The two women in the car told authorities they were rush to the hospital when they were stopped. Emergency crews tried to revive the child with no luck.

Officers are investigating whether foul play was involved in the child’s death.

An overnight car crash takes a woman's life in Tulsa. It happened just before three this morning on Highway 169 near the I-244 construction zone.

Tulsa Police say speed was a factor in the crash. The car side-swiped a guard rail along the expressway, went out of control and landed on the 244 ramp.

The female driver was dead at the scene according to police. A male passenger was treated at the scene by EMSA.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police have released the name of the officer who shot and killed a man who allegedly broke into a woman's home and attacked her.

Police said Wednesday that Officer James Comstock shot and killed 25-year-old Phillip Steven Doll on Tuesday when Doll lunged at officers investigating a 911 call that someone had broken into the woman's home. Police have said Doll was on top of the woman when officers entered the home and lunged at them before Comstock opened fire.

A man is shot to death by Tulsa Police. It happened just after dark last night in Brookside. The man was apparently burglarizing an elderly woman’s home and started beating her. When confront by police, he charged officer and they fired.

The incident happened in the 900 block of East 36th Street. An internal police investigation is underway.

The 85-year-old woman, severely beaten in a home invasion near Harvard and Virgin earlier this week, has died. Her elderly husband is in serious condition.

Tulsa Police say 85-year-old Nancy Strait died around 7:30 last night at a Tulsa hospital.  90-year-old Bob Strait remains hospitalized. Both were found unconscious in their home on Wednesday afternoon. Their car was also missing. The discovery was made by their adult daughter.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa say an elderly couple was found badly beaten in their home.

Authorities say the 90-year-old man and 85-year-old woman were found by family members on Wednesday afternoon. The victims were taken to a hospital and were in critical condition.

Family members had seen the couple Tuesday evening.

When they went back Wednesday, they found a door had been kicked in and the couple's car had been stolen.
