Tulsa, OK – THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
TO 6 PM CST FRIDAY...

FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
* IN OKLAHOMA...PITTSBURG...OKMULGEE...PAWNEE...CREEK...
OKFUSKEE...MCINTOSH...LE FLORE...LATIMER AND HASKELL.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...
* AREAS OF RAIN...MIXED WITH SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO PORTIONS OF
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AFTER MIDNIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL STORM
SYSTEM APPROACHES. THE PRECIPITATION SHOULD CHANGE TO
PREDOMINANTLY SNOW ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA INTO FRIDAY
BEFORE SHIFTING SOUTHEAST BY FRIDAY EVENING.

* FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED FROM
MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 PM CST FRIDAY WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
AROUND 3 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* ROADS IN THE ADVISORY AREA MAY BECOME SLICK IN SPOTS...
ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND NON-TREATED
SURFACES. GROUND TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY ALLOW FOR SOME
MELTING ON AREA ROADWAYS.

ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS.
