THOMAS, Okla. (AP) U.S. Rep. Mary Fallin is embarking on a whistle-stop train tour through several western Oklahoma cities as part of her campaign to become Oklahoma's next governor

Fallin and her supporters gathered Monday morning outside the Wheeler Brothers grain company in Thomas in Custer County. The Fallin campaign leased a two-car passenger train with a caboose for the event.

The train will make stops in Clinton, Cordell and Hobart, and Fallin will address supporters at each stop. The Republican nominee will end the trip with a fundraiser in Frederick.

Fallin will face Democratic Lt. Gov. Jari Askins in November's election. The two women are vying to replace Democratic incumbent Gov. Brad Henry.
