WAGONER, Okla. (AP) — The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths of two women, including one who was shot in the head.

Investigators said Friday that the women's bodies were discovered at separate locations on Thursday.

The Oklahoman reports that the body of 82-year-old Rose M. Teixeira was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head. A loaded revolver was recovered at the scene.

Teixeira was last seen shortly before 1 p.m. by a neighbor who gave her a ride to the store. Her body was discovered by her daughter and son-in-law.

The body of 53-year-old Vickie Lynn Hill was discovered in the house where she lived on her parents' property. Hill's father entered the home when he was unable to make contact with her and found his daughter not breathing.
