Update: Devon Walker

Tulane University

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — Drew Brees says he's impressed by the upbeat outlook of seriously injury Tulane safety Devon Walker and was pleased to be able to visit with him recently.

Brees and several Saints teammates visited Walker at a rehabilitation center in Atlanta on November 29th, which was the Tulane player's birthday, but the visit was not publicized by Tulane or the Saints until this week.

Walker fractured his spine in a game at Tulsa on September 8th. He has not been able to walk since.

Brees says it is "unbelievable" how positive Walker is after such a traumatic event.

Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins says Walker conversed with visitors without much difficulty and has a good sense of humor, but did not move his limbs during the visit.
