Tulsa, OK – Some call it sign litter. No one these days tosses a fast food wrapper or a drink cup out the car window, yet out right-of-ways are filled with illegal signs. The City of Tulsa is forming a group of volunteers to clear our right-of-ways.

Last week, the volunteers gathered at the 10th floor conference room at City Hall for sign removal training. It is more than just bending over and pulling it up. You must know what is in---and what is out---of the right-of-way. Veteran sign inspectors are conducting the "sign abatement" training.

The volunteers, mostly senior citizens looking for a mission, were equally enthusiastic.
