Tulsa's Free Landfill Days

You can declutter your home. The City of Tulsa and the Quarry Landfill will allow Tulsans to dispose of unwanted objects this weekend for free. City of Tulsa’s Liz Hunt says, “It’s a great way to kind of get ready for the holidays and get rid of those unneeded objects from your home.”

Hunt says that the city requests that objects in a truck or trailer be “secured and covered just to prevent contents from blowing out onto the roadways or creating a potential traffic hazard or litter within our city streets.”

Hunt says more details especially regarding tire disposal are on www.cityoftulsa.org/trash

To enter the landfill you’ll need to present a City of Tulsa utility bill or a valid driver’s license with a Tulsa address.
