Tulsa, OK – On today's StudioTulsa, we speak with Jose Luis-Novo, who'll serve as Guest Conductor for the Tulsa Symphony when that ensemble begins its 2011-12 season on Saturday night (the 10th) at 7:30pm at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. On the program is Wagner's Prelude to "Die Meistersinger," Stravinsky's Divertimento from "Fairy's Kiss," and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. For tickets, or for more information about the concert, please 918-596-7111. Also on our program, commentator Ian Shoales ponders a new book that's all about Area 51 (which is a top-secret U.S. Government facility that's existed for decades, and that's long been a favorite of conspiracy theorists and UFO buffs).
