Tulsa Minister Shot Overnight in Home Invasion

A Tulsa pastor is shot in his north side home early this morning. It happened near Apache and North Denver.

Tulsa Police say someone kicked in the front door of the Rev. Kenneth Brooks' home shortly before 2 a.m, this morning. He was shot point-blank in the chest.  Police Cpl. Mike Shelton says Brooks was taken to a hospital and is likely to survive his injuries.

Brooks is the pastor of City of Refuge International Ministries.

Police are investigating whether the shooting was a targeted attack.  Police say a teenage girl knocked on Brooks' door right before the shooting and asked for help.

The teen was taken into custody for questioning.
