Tulsa Homicide VIctim Identified

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police have identified a man who was shot and killed in a domestic homicide.

The Tulsa World reports that 33-year-old Mark Masingale Junior was slain Thursday night.

Sergeant Dave Walker says Masingale and another man had been in an altercation outside a house before the shooting. The man reportedly broke free from Masingale and ran inside, where he retrieved a shotgun and fired at Masingale, who had followed him inside.

The shooter was questioned and released. Walker says the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office will determine whether to file charges.

Officials say the residence is the home of Charon Powell, whose daughters Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Powell Melchor were fatally shot with two other women during a robbery in January. Walker says Thursday's shooting is not related.
