Tulsa, OK – A 15-year-old is now in custody in connection with last Thursday night's fatal convenience store attempted armed robbery in north Tulsa. A 14-year-old accomplice was shot and killed during the robbery as the store clerk returned fire from the robbers.
The name of the 15-year-old is not being released as he is a minor. He was taken into custody last night.
Tulsa Police officer Leland Ashley says it is not uncommon for clerks, especially in smaller mom and pop type convenience stores to be armed.
