TCC Presidential Candidates to Be in Tulsa

TCC

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The three candidates to replace retiring Tulsa Community College President Thomas McKeon are scheduled to visit the campus for interviews and meetings.

McKeon has announced plans to retire by June 30.

Minnesota West Community and Technical College President Richard Shrubb is to be in Tulsa on Tuesday; Oklahoma State University Research and Institutional Advancement Vice President Leigh Goodson is to visit on Wednesday; and Ivy Tech-Wabash Valley Chancellor Ann Valentine is to visit on Thursday.

Each of the three will take part in public forums and will meet privately with individual members of the Board of Regents.

The regents hope to vote on a final candidate and offer the position prior to McKeon's retirement in June.
