Suspected Killer May Have Planned More Violence

ADA, Okla. (AP) — An investigator says the suspected killer of an East Central University student may have planned more acts of violence.

Eighteen-year-old Jerrod Murray is charged with first-degree murder in the Dec. 5 shooting death of 18-year-old Generro Sanchez.

Murray remains jailed without bond. Court records do not list an attorney for him.

The Oklahoman reported Monday that an affidavit for a search warrant of Murray's dorm room says Murray told his roommate the night of Sanchez's killing that he had "reached or accomplished objective A."

Prosecutor's investigator Josh Dean wrote in the affidavit that the comment leads investigators to believe Murray had planned other crimes.

Sanchez's body was found in a ditch near Murray's hometown of Asher. He had been shot twice in the head.
