LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) Ryan Broyles became the NCAA's career receptions leader and Landry Jones threw for 363 yards and three scores as Oklahoma won big over Kansas 47-17 last night. Broyles finished with 13 catches for a school-record 217 yards. His 57-yarder in the second quarter broke former Purdue standout Taylor Stubblefield's record of 316 receptions. The senior from Norman added another TD catch in the fourth quarter.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) The Oklahoma State Cowboys have improved to 6-0 with a 38-26 win over Texas. Jeremy Smith ran for 140 yards and scored on two long touchdown runs and Brandon Weeden passed for 218 yards and a touchdown to Justin Blackmon. Justin Gilbert returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. It was the fourth of his career and tied the school record.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa weathered four turnovers in a 37-20 victory over Alabama-Birmingham. G.J. Kinne tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the final 3:28 of the first half to help Tulsa take a 24-20 halftime lead. Kinne threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns.

WASHINGTON (AP) Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder says NBA players have "sacrificed a lot" and are looking for some concessions by the owners to settle the lockout. Durant was in Washington yesterday as a group of NBA players renewed the Philadelphia-DC rivalry. Durant scored 56 points for the DC team, which lost to Philly 172-169.
