Oklahoma City, OK – Terrill calls DA's allegations 'preposterous'

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A state lawmaker at the center of an investigation into possible corruption at the state Capitol says the allegations are "preposterous."

Republican State Rep. Randy Terrill of Moore told The Associated Press on Wednesday he has not talked to Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater about his investigation. He says that he has not received a second subpoena to testify before a multicounty grand jury.

Terrill has not talked publicly about the investigation since Prater confirmed he was looking into whether a deal was made to create a state job for a senator in exchange for her agreement not to seek re-election.

Prater has confirmed that the investigation involved Terrill, state Rep. Mike Christian and state Sen. Debbe Leftwich.
