Starlight Band's Free Concerts at the River

Public Radio Tulsa – A Tulsa Summertime Tradition!

Ever since 1947, concerts performed by the Starlight Band have provided great live music to Tulsa-area audiences each and every summer. Usually held at the River West Festival Amphitheater, these free concerts offer big-band and orchestral music in a relaxed outdoor setting that's informal, family-oriented, and accessible to those with disabilities.

They're also - it's probably worth repeating - free! All concerts begin at 8pm. They're held at the River West Festival Amphitheater (on the west bank of the Arkansas River; at 2100 South Jackson in Tulsa) unless otherwise noted.

This year's concerts will happen on June 22, June 29, July 13, July 20, and July 27.

Public Radio Tulsa is proud to serve as a media sponsor for this special series of performances. This year, in fact, PRT's own Rich Fisher will be directing the Starlight big band on July 27.
