Oklahoma City, OK – Services set for Oklahoman killed in Afghanistan
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Funeral services have been scheduled for an Oklahoma Army National Guard soldier who was killed in action in Afghanistan.
The Guard says services for 26-year-old Sgt. Bret Isenhower of Seminole will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Isenhower was one of three Oklahoma Army National Guard soldiers killed Sept. 9 in Paktia Province Afghanistan when his unit was attacked by small arms fire. Twenty-six-year-old Spc. Christopher Horton of Collinsville and 20-year-old Pfc. Tony Potter of Okmulgee also were killed.
Isenhower deployed to Afghanistan in July with Company A, 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
Funeral services for Potter were held Saturday.
