Oklahoma City – OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A memorial service has been scheduled for a medical helicopter pilot and a nurse killed when the helicopter crashed near Kingfisher.

Pilot Al Harrison and nurse Ryan Duke died Thursday night when the EagleMed helicopter crashed into a field near Kingfisher. Nurse and paramedic Michael Eccard was critically injured and remained hospitalized Sunday in Oklahoma City.

EagleMed spokeswoman Shelia Rupp-Haag said in a news release Sunday that the service for Harrison and Duke will be Thursday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the helicopter was en route from an Oklahoma City hospital to a hospital in Okeene when it went down.

A cause of the crash remains under investigation.
