Oklahoma City, OK – Arrests made in drug overdose of Harrah students

HARRAH, Okla. (AP) Police in Harrah say two junior high students have been arrested and more are expected in connection with the overdose of three students on prescription drugs.

Officer Phil Stewart told KTOK radio that charges of possession and distribution of drugs on school property are expected against seven students.

No names have been released.

Police say three junior high students were treated Feb. 16 after taking prescription drugs at school. Stewart says one girl was hospitalized and two other students were treated and released.

He says all three have since recovered.
