Tulsa, OK – Civil rights and Hispanic groups blast plans for an Arizona style immigration law in Oklahoma.
"Unconstitutional, un-American and an economic disaster!" During a Tulsa news conference, representatives of several groups level harsh criticism at proposals to introduce legislation similar to Arizona's controversial new law. Marvin Lizama is President of the Coalition for the American Dream in Tulsa, and was one of the speakers.
Three Oklahoma lawmakers say they intend to introduce tough new immigration restrictions before the end of the legislative session, later this month. .
