Resolution in the Works

By AP

Tulsa, OK – A resolution is in the works to the police controversy over the Islamic Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Tulsa Police Captain Paul Fields was reassigned after refusing to order his officers to attend at a Tulsa Mosque. Captain Fields then filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city.

A 2 O'clock news conference was called to announce a resolution, but at the last minute, it was called off.

Tulsa Police Spokesman Jason Willingham says both sides are still talking.
