Tulsa, OK – Fallen Tulsa officers to be honored at ceremony
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Ceremonies are set to honor three Tulsa police officers who died in the line of duty and as well as other officers who died in 2010.
During a candlelight vigil at sundown Friday, a ceremony at the Tulsa Police Memorial to recall retired and active Tulsa officers who died last year in circumstances other than in the line of duty.
On Saturday morning, another ceremony will honor three Tulsa officers who died in the line of duty Walter Clark, who died 75 years ago; Leroy Cowles, who died 50 years ago and James "Bert" Slay, who died 25 years ago.
