Remains of Oklahoma Soldier Returned to State

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) — The remains of an Oklahoma soldier who was killed in Afghanistan have been returned to the state.

The body of 25-year-old Specialist James Dutton were flown to Davis Field in Muskogee on Friday and taken to Bradley Funeral Service in Muskogee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Checotah.

The Department of Defense has said Dutton was killed March 31st in Afghanistan. Details of his death have not been released.

Dutton was assigned to the 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division based at Fort Bliss, Texas.
