Oklahoma City, OK – PSO seeks to recover investment costs
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Public Service Company of Oklahoma wants the Corporation Commission to let it recover investment costs for providing reliable electrical service.
PSO filed its so-called rider recovery proposal Friday. The utility says approval would amount to a small increase in customer costs because two existing riders are set to expire in the coming months.
The impact of all three riders to residential customers who use 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month would be about 90 cents more a month by mid-2010.
PSO says it has already made the investments. Over the past year, the utility says it has invested about $20 million a month and about $1 billion in the past five years.
PSO serves about 527,000 customers in eastern and southwestern Oklahoma.
