Tulsa, OK – The historic overall of the Tulsa Public Schools is approved by the Tulsa School Board. It will close 14-schools and re-align others.
The consolidation will save the district about five million dollars a year and will eliminate about six-thousand unoccupied school desks.
The vote last night was 5-to-2 During the meeting Superintendent Doctor Keith Ballard said this will not be the last consolidation project.
