Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Police Motorcycle Officer Ross Williams lost control of his 2009 Harley Davidson Police Special near the intersection of I-244 and Harvard Avenue. The accident happened about 11-this morning.
Officer Williams and another motorcycle officer were turning left onto Harvard Avenue from the westbound I-244 exit ramp when he lost control. His left leg appeared to have been caught between the roadway and the bike, causing a broken and/or dislocated ankle. Officer Williams was transported by EMSA to Saint Johns Hospital where he was met by family and friends.
The circumstances involving this accident are still under investigation by Advanced Traffic Investigators.
