Plane Crash

By Associated Press

Prague, OK – PRAGUE, Okla. (AP) Authorities say a man aboard a plane has been injured after it crashed near a small central Oklahoma airport.

Lincoln County emergency dispatcher Suzie Granbille says authorities received a call about the crash near the Prague airport at 9:53 a.m. Thursday. She says the man was briefly trapped in the wreckage but was freed within a half-hour of the accident about 50 miles east of Oklahoma City.

Granbille says the man, who has not been identified, was the only person aboard the plane. She says it didn't appear the man's injuries were severe.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Chris West says the OHP is responding to the crash but didn't immediately have details of what happened.
