Owasso has named Warren Lehr as the acting city manager. The action came last night after the city council accepted the resignation of long time city manager Rodney Ray last night.
The council met in a closed door executive session for about an hour before voting 4-to-1 to accept the resignation. Ray has been arrested and charged with writing a bogus check and then filing a false crime report.
