Ouch! Gas Prices Up Again

KWGS News

Gasoline prices increased another dime per-gallon overnight in Tulsa. The price has increased some 70-cents per gallon since Christmas Day. The price of regular unleaded is up to $3.59 per gallon now in Tulsa.

Oil industry experts say there are several reasons as to why the price keeps on increasing at a time of the year when it is normally dropping. A higher demand in China, as well as American refineries switching early from a winter to summer blend is catching the blame.  They also say the price of the dollar is also figuring into the price fuel.

The price of oil actually closed down yesterday $1.33 per barrel. It opened this morning at $95.98.
