Arcadia, OK – 2 small earthquakes recorded in central Oklahoma
ARCADIA, Okla. (AP) Small earthquakes have been recorded in central Oklahoma in recent days.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 2.5-magnitude quake struck about 4:50 a.m. Thursday about two miles east-southeast of Arcadia in Oklahoma County.
A 2.9-magnitude earthquake was reported about 3 p.m. Wednesday a mile southeast of Jones, also in Oklahoma County.
There were no reports of damage.
Geologists say earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
