OKC businessman gets 15 months in Skiatook case

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — An Oklahoma City businessman has been sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for fraud following an investigation involving Skiatook Public Schools

U.S. Attorney Danny Williams says Rickey Enos was sentenced Friday for conspiracy to defraud the government. He was also ordered to pay $338,999 in restitution to the school district.

Prosecutors say Enos submitted invoices to former Skiatook Superintendent Gary Johnson for supplies and services at prices that were as much as 400 percent over fair market value. Johnson would approve payments in exchange for cash, tickets to college football games and travel and entertainment costs.

Johnson was previously sentenced to a year in prison for conspiracy and ordered to pay $207,590 in restitution.

Enos' defense attorney, Ann Ellen Keele, did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment.
