O-DOT Worker Killed

KWGS News File photo

HENRYETTA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an Oklahoma Department of Transportation worker has been killed when a recreational vehicle crashed into the parked ODOT truck he was in on Interstate 40.

Lt. George Brown told reporters that 47-year-old Tim Vandiver died in the collision near Henryetta shortly after noon Monday. Brown says seven people in the RV were injured and are hospitalized in unknown condition.

Brown says the driver of the RV apparently was sleepy and the vehicle drifted off the interstate and crashed into the ODOT truck.
