Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we're talking about a new exhibit that just opened at the Gilcrease Museum here in Tulsa. "America: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of a Nation" will run for a full year --- that is, until July 3, 2011 --- and will offer visitors a memorable and quite sweeping panorama of American history from colonial days to the closing of the Western frontier. This epic show includes some 400 items that document three centuries of American history through period artworks, varied artifacts, and archival materials --- with all of these items drawn entirely from the vast and diverse collections of the Gilcrease Museum. Our guest on StudioTulsa today is Randy Ramer, the Director of Exhibitions and Publications at Gilcrease, who tells us about this great new show.
