Tulsa, Ok – Tulsans will not vote on making municipal elections non-partisan. Judge Jefferson Sellars ruled an initiative petition was invalid. City Councilor John Eagleton brought the challenge. He was pleased with the ruling.
State law requires valid signatures equal to 25-percent of the voters in the last election . But the judge ruled the City Clerk's office used the wrong election to determine the number of required signatures.
