Tulsa, OK – Tulsa World halts print editions for 2 more days

TULSA, Okla. (AP) The Tulsa World newspaper will not print its Thursday and Friday editions following after a major blizzard dumped more than 20 inches of snow in some parts of the state.

Wednesday's announcement would make three days in a row the paper did not issue a print edition. The World will continue to publish only its electronic editions until at least Saturday.

World Publisher Robert E. Lorton III cited the continued safety of more than 700 newspaper haulers and carriers as a reason for the decision.

The Tulsa World's e-edition, which requires a separate subscription, will continue to be offered free to all readers on www.tulsaworld.com.
