New Report Critical of County and State Roads

A new grassroots organization is out with a report that indicates county roads and state highways are three times more prone to fatalities than other Oklahoma roads. Bartlesville resident Fred Storer is the president of Safe-Right-of-Ways.

He says everything from the lack of guard-rails to oversized brick mailboxes place to close to the road can be  responsible for the increase. He says too often laws are being ignored.

The organization is calling on county commissioners and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to address the issues.
