Tulsa, OK – Another budget proposal is in the works between the Mayor's office and the Fraternal Order of Police. It is expected the mayor's office will give the package to the FOP by noon of tomorrow. The plan will reduce the number of police lay-offs but is not expected to totally eliminate them.
On Friday, the 155 Tulsa Police Officers were given notice they would be laid-off in seven days, unless the city and the union come to terms on wage concessions.
