New Numbers Are Released in the Investigation of a Tulsa Dentist

KWGS News File Photo

More than 3800 former patients of Dr. Scott Harrington have now been tested for exposure to blood borne diseases. The latest update shows only one new case of Hepatitis C, no new cases of Hepatitis B, and HIV positives remain at three. It’s still in line with what could be expected in the general population. The Health Department’s Kaitlin Snider says although the number of people coming in for testing has dropped considerably, the testing will continue for the time being. No end date has yet been set.
Anyone who tests positive will be personally contacted and counseled by health professionals.
