New Life for a Closed School
By Jesika Byerly
A new charter school opens in Tulsa at 63rd and North Cincinnati.
Michael Ronan, President and CEO of Lighthouse Academies, says the school is for college preparation and gives parents another choice for their children’s school. Right now the school serves Kindergarten to Fourth Grade. Ronan says they hope to add an additional class each year through High School.
The school is housed in the old Greeley Elementary school, which was closed as part of the Tulsa Public Schools Project School House consolidation.
