Oklahoma City, OK – Fallin announces 150 new OKC manufacturing jobs

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Gov. Mary Fallin says Oklahoma City-based UE Manufacturing is creating 150 new jobs through the opening of a new manufacturing division.

UE Manufacturing, a division of United Holdings, is a global supplier and manufacturer of oilfield service equipment. The company's expansion will focus on remanufacturing previously used equipment.

Fallin made the announcement Tuesday. She says her top priority is to create the best business environment possible to help bring more jobs and investment to Oklahoma. Fallin says it's exciting to see her goal realized with the expansion of an existing Oklahoma company.

The UE Manufacturing expansion has been approved for the state's Quality Jobs Program. Besides adding jobs it will invest almost $3 million in equipment and building improvements at the new facility.
