New Cherokee Clinic is Open

File Photo/Cherokee Nation

The Cherokee Nation has a  new clinic at Vinita. The new 96,000 square foot facility offers a full menu of health care, including dentistry and optometry.

Cherokee Chief Bill John Baker says the clinic has been need for years and it should help improve the health care needs of Cherokees living in the northern part of the nation.

The clinic opened earlier this month. The new clinic is visible from the Will Rogers Turnpike, between the McDonalds and the Vinita exit.
