Tulsa, OK – With little fan-fare, Tulsa picked up a new airline service this week. Frontier Airline is not a new name to Tulsa. It has been around for decades and has served Tulsa in the past. But on Monday, Tulsa service for the financially troubled airline started again. On board that maiden flight was the airline's Steve Snyder.

The airline will fly to its Denver hub two times a day/seven days a week. There, one will have connections to the other 50-cities served by Frontier in the U-S, Mexico and Costa Rica. Frontier most recently served Tulsa from 2005-to-2008.

Frontier's Tulsa service was halted when the airline filed for bankruptcy. It is unusual for a business in bankruptcy to expand. Snyder, however, is not ruling out additional flights being added to Tulsa.
