Muskogee Mall Shooting Update

By Associated Press

Muskogee, OK – Teen says friend fired shots in Okla mall shooting

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) A 17-year-old boy says his friend fired shots at a Muskogee mall, killing another 17-year-old and wounding five others.

Martin Miller alleged Dondray Fowler was the shooter during testimony Wednesday at a preliminary hearing to determine whether Fowler should stand trial for the April 10 death of Jerrod Reed at Arrowhead Mall.

Also testifying was 13-year-old Madison Latta, who was shot in both legs as she left a pretzel shop. Latta says after realizing she had been wounded, she crawled into a shoe store and asked for help.

Neither of Fowler's attorneys could be reached for comment.

The hearing is scheduled to resume Sept. 22.
