Oklahoma City, OK – Suspected motive in slaying of 4 in Oklahoma City

(Information in the following story is from: The Oklahoman, http://www.newsok.com)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Prosecutors says the man charged with killing a prostitute featured in an HBO reality series and three others in Oklahoma City hoped the killings would gain him entrance into a gang.

The allegation is made in court documents filed Friday against David Tyner.

Tyner is charged with six counts of first-degree murder in the 2009 deaths of Brooke Phillips, Mark Barrientos, Jennifer Ermy and Milagros Barrera. The two additional counts are because Phillips and Barrera were pregnant. He has pleaded not guilty.

Phillips was featured on the HBO show "Cathouse" about a legal brothel in Nevada.

The Oklahoman reports that Tyner allegedly targeted Barrientos because he felt he wasn't paid enough for selling drugs for Barrientos and felt disrespected then killed the others to eliminate them as witnesses.
