Tulsa, Okla. – As Tulsa digs out, another storm expected

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa continued to dig out Tuesday from last week's massive blizzard just as another winter storm was making its way toward the state. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for eastern Oklahoma, forecasting 4 to 10 inches of snow from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday night.

The forecast also calls for wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour, drifting snow and warned that roads could become impassable.

Tulsa a city of 390,000 has been struggling to restore key services since last week's blizzard that dumped up to 20 inches of snow and ice.

City police are responding to accidents only if there are injuries involved and public works crews are still clearing streets of snow. Area schools also closed Tuesday for the sixth straight day.
