Tulsa, OK – More Budget Cuts are ahead for the city of Tulsa. Mayor Bartlett and Chief of Staff Terry Simmonson met with the Tulsa City Council yesterday afternoon to discuss the latest budget figures.

Mayor Bartlett has sent city department heads an email asking for additional budget cuts of two and four percent. The Mayor says the city has already cut into the muscle and more cuts will be painful.

He told the council that it is doubtful the cuts will come until after the holidays. He gave the department heads one week to forward recommendations.
