Tulsa, Oklahoma – On StudioTulsa today, we offer a great conversation with the wonderful contemporary American fiction writer Richard Russo, whose novels include "Empire Falls," "Straight Man," and "Nobody's Fool." Russo's latest novel is called "That Old Cape Magic" (Knopf) --- and this award-winning author will appear tonight (Tuesday the 13th) at a reading/talk/signing at the OSU-Tulsa auditorium. This event is presented by the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers, and it begins at 7pm. In his chat with our host Rich Fisher on today's program, Russo reflects on some of the broader themes and trends in his work, names and explains a few of his favorites among his many well-rendered characters, and speaks at length about the autobiographical facets of his latest novel. For more information on Russo's appearance here in Tulsa, please go to this website [http://poetsandwriters.okstate.edu] and then click on "Upcoming Events."
