Tulsa, OK – The Council is upset the Mayor has not spent money it ordered when it overrode his veto. Councilor Jack Henderson wants the street lights back on now. A man was killed on a darken section of the I-D-L. The Mayor however, contends he can't spend money that he isn't sure will materialize.

The Council was also upset with the Mayor for telling its members not to directly contact city employees with questions from citizens. He says they should call the Mayor's Action Line. That did not sit well with Councilor Bill Christiansen.

The Mayor says the council can call department heads. But, it should not be ordering the rank and file city employees.
