Man Found Dead in Makeshift Tent in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police say a man who is believed to be homeless was found dead inside a tent in southwest Oklahoma City.

The man's name has not been released.

Capt. Dee Patty told reporters the body was found late Wednesday afternoon behind a coin-operated laundry. Police say the man was wrapped in a blanket inside the tent.

The body was sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death. Patty says foul play is not suspected.

Temperatures in Oklahoma City on Wednesday ranged from 13 to 28 degrees.
