Local Convention Upset with Governor

By AP

Tulsa, OK – Governor, others hammered at Tulsa Co. GOP meeting

(Information in the following story is from: Tulsa World, http://www.tulsaworld.com)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Members of the Tulsa County Republican Party criticized Republican Gov. Mary Fallin and GOP lawmakers for supporting the use of a $54 million federal grant to design and implement a health-care exchange.

The exchange is a web-based informational system designed to help people and businesses find affordable health insurance. Fallin and others have said the state can't afford to implement an exchange without the grant, and that refusing to do sow will lead to a federally imposed program.

The Tulsa World Reports the county party also adopted a measure to be proposed at the Republican state convention to require censure hearings for Republican office-holders who don't adhere to "core principles." Those principles include the unconstitutionality of all gun regulations and the belief that life begins at the moment of fertilization.
